Bloomberg’s Appetite Costs NYC Taxpayers $250,000

Share

Mayor Bloomberg has become infamous for his taxpayer funded crusades against food freedom: banning ingredients, restricting products available for purchase, taxing food and beverages, and running public ad and public relations campaigns demonizing normal ingredients and products.

But, who’s micro-managing the Mayor’s consumption? In accordance with Hizzoner’s hypocrisy, it appears he has no problem spending $250,000 on chefs at Gracie Mansion to feed his own appetite with rich foods. And, his lavish spending on chefs has New Yorkers questioning his priorities.

Why is it that Mayor Bloomberg seeks to take away our ability to choose as consumers when he continues to have anything he desires at his fingertips and at our expense?
